Why We Walk
Mental Wellness is About the WHOLE Person
Proceeds from our Walk directly support organizations that provide wraparound services, enabling holistic improvements in mental wellness within the communities where we live and serve.
To date, we have raised and donated thousands of dollars to more than 30 organizations. This year, we aim to uplift five more with grants up to $5000 each through our Community Organization Grants Program.
Here are just a few ways we’ve made an impact:
-
Emotional and housing support for youth with housing insecurities.
-
Mental health resources and assistance for veterans.
-
Mentorship and college-readiness for at-risk youth.
-
Empowerment and assistance for returning citizens to reduce recidivism rates.
-
Nurturing and support for young mothers to become self-sufficient for themselves and their families.
