Walk Event Details
On Saturday, May 17th, we'll step out in a big way for Mental Health Awareness! Teams in Allentown, PA, Washington, DC, and Covington, GA will come together to raise vital support for organizations making a real impact for mental wellness. Here's everything you need to know for Walk Day as we prepare to uplift and empower our communities.

Allentown, PA Walk Details

8:00 AM - Vendor set up
9:00 AM - Walker registration, meet and gather, vendor and walker introductions, discussion of the mission and purpose of the Walk
10:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Walk

Location: Cedar Beach Park, 2600 Parkway Blvd

Where to Find Us: By Lake Muhlenberg

Parking: The main parking lot is on Parkway Boulevard, providing direct access to the park. There is also a lot off Ott Street, and street parking is available nearby if needed.

What To Wear: Wear loose, comfortable clothing or workout gear, sneakers or closed toe shoes. T-shirts will be provided for Walk sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and individual donors of $100 or more.

What To Expect: Mental Health and other wellness information and materials will be available. Water and light refreshments will be provided.​

Where to Find Us: Meet up in the parking lot of our NE DC location, right next to the building

Parking: Parking is limited. Please park in the office parking lot or on the street if you can find a space. Uber/Lyft or public transportation are options as well. Please do not park on the sidewalk.

What To Wear: Wear loose, comfortable clothing or workout gear, sneakers or closed toe shoes. T-shirts will be provided for Walk sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and individual donors of $100 or more.

Walk Route: Using the NE DC parking lot as a starting point, we will walk through the neighborhood near our office including the marketplace nearby, and then back to the office.​​​​​​

Covington, GA Walk Details

Where to Find Us: Under the Pavilion

Parking: Park in the lot near the Pavillion
​

Landmarks: Newton County Fire Station #14 and Oak Hill Elementary School are both across the street from the park. Coming from the Conyers area, there's a Dollar General Store on the right and across the street is a Kroger which is on the left. Then, Texaco on the left and Zion Baptist Church on the right, continue to drive and the park is on the left.
